Australia is one of the World’s premier study destinations for those wanting to learn English

English language learning provides pathways to higher education degrees and vocational education (VET) qualifications, as well as opening doors to career opportunities and migration. English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) programs encompass General English, exam preparation classes such as IELTS, PTE and OET, Business English, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and University Bridging courses, and Study Tour programs.

For the English learner, language classes help to build confidence, accuracy and fluency, and often represent the international student’s first social circle in Australia. In addition to programs catering to international students, the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP), delivered by TAFE, provides language lessons to migrants from all over the globe.
